Birthplace: My name is Yurida Juliana Begazo Valencia , My parents names are Humberto Víctor Begazo Taco and Adela Valencia Tito. I have 4 siblings: Yurguen Víctor (19), Luis Alberto (16), Anthony Humberto (14), and Moisés Joaquín (1). I was born on Octubre 9 1987, which is in the district of Arequipa, in the Province of Arequipa , Departament of Arequipa - Peru .

How I came to know Christ: I was raised in a Christian home. We went to Sunday School in the Nazarene church. My home was one of the best there could be, full of all that a family needs as far as love and a lot of teaching from the Word of God. When I was 11 years old, Pastor Santiago Bereche preached about the need for salvation and asked if anyone wanted to be saved. I made my decision to receive Christ and then began to receive discipleship.

How Christ has changed my Life: After being saved, although I was not financially stable, God showed me how to wait on Him and see His hand so that I could then understand what He wanted for me. While in the Nazarene Church we lived a little similar to the standards that I have now: the way we dressed, the music we listened to and the doctrine were very much the same. We continued in the faith but our problems kept multiplying. It was terrible! We got out of that church and thank God we started going to the Lighthouse Baptist Church where I have found love and confidence and above all the encouragement to serve the Lord full time. I now help inside the ministry of young ladies and the teens. I also work in the church's bulletin, the choir, the nursery and the Sunday School attendance. I have gotten involved in many ministries because I know that it will prepare me for the rest of my life.

My Calling into the Ministry: Right after getting saved I had the desire to serve God full time. I wanted it although my parents thought I was too immature to make a decision of that magnitude but I remained strong until today. When I told my parents about wanting to go to the Seminary. When I told my parents about it they thought that desire would fade. My father thought it would be better for me to get a degree but God had other plans for me. I told God to show me his will and open doors and touch my parent's hearts so that I could go and do His work. Now they are all happy that I am in the Seminary, preparing to serve God full time. The Seminary has been of much help in preparing me. Preparing me to be able to teach, and how to serve others. It has taught me humility, behavior, discipline and organization. In regard to my economic needs, my parents give me enough for my expenses, even for my school necessities and in that sense God has really given me parents that are a blessing to me.

My Plans for the Future: Until now my goals have been to work with the young ladies and be their teacher. In the future, if God gives me one, I want to help my husband in whatever ministry God has for him. I want to help and direct young girls and single women that have gotten into drugs and loose what God has given for them to enjoy in this life. I would like the wife of a full time worker, whether it be a pastor or a missionary, and be his helpmeet for his ministry.
