Birthplace: My name is Sara Isabel Tito Copa, my parents are Esteban Tito Chavez and Margarita Isabel Copa. I am 23 years old and my siblings are: Magaly (33), Mercedes (17 who is also in the seminary), Willians and Paul. I was born on the 4 th of July, 1982 in Arequipa, Peru.
How I came to know Christ: My original plans for my life after I got out of school were going to be to study in a university and then establish myself a stable economy so I could live with my parents. I wanted to live for the Lord, but with my own restrictions. When I was in my fifth year, this is when everything began to change. I started to visit a church with my parents, but my father did not like the church at all. But later, because of the influence of my aunt, my mother started going back to the church and following in the way of God. I started going back to the church when my mom was getting baptized and every day I learned more about Christ until on the 14 th of April, 2005, I accepted Christ into my heart.
How Christ has changed my Life: I have been learning more and more about Christ every day and later, I was preparing to go to a university, but I could not find the courses I was looking for. After two years, we went to live in the city of Enace . This started getting me farther away from God as I began dedicating more time to my work and studies. My mother began to attend The Eternal Life Church with my younger sister and later in Enace a new church was being opened by Pastor Roger Puma and the Missionary Greg Anderson that was to be called New Life Baptist Church . They visited my house to invite me to go to church. At the time, I did not want to go, but they came back some months later, and I decided it was time to go to church. I went to the church on a Sunday morning and I noticed there was something special in that church. There was a love for God and a love for the people.
I began to feel a burden for people but I didn't know how I was going to balance my studies and also have to give up the things that my parents had wanted me to do. A few months passed, and I heard about the Seminary through my pastor and a lady at the church. I found out that there were many people at the seminary that had given their entire life to God and many of them were still young. I decided to stop the career I had been falling and to give my life to the work of God. My parents and my pastor were very supporting as I took this step of faith. That year, I started attending the Seminary, and it was something beautiful. Now my determination is a lot greater to continue the work of God. He has helped me in all this time in the Seminary and He has been working in my life, and also in the life of my parents.
My Calling into the Ministry: My decisions are getting bigger as every day passes and my purpose is getting closer to what God would have it to be. He is working in my life to give me a purpose and a way to serve Him
My Plans for the Future: God has opened a door to a community or center of support for abused women and mothers that don't know the way of God so that we can show them that there is someone who loves them. |
