Birthplace: My name is Daysi Maribel Olarte Flores, my parents names are: Juan Efraín Olarte Figueroa and Isidoro Petronila Flóres Viza. I have 3 siblings: Mariela (30), Huber Henry (27), and José Miguel (19). I was born May 5th, 1985, in the district of Paucarpata, in the province of Arequipa , Department de Arequipa - Peru . 

How I came to know Christ: My family has always been Catholic by name and not by practice but had me baptized when I was six and had me take the First Communion when I was 10. My father would drink sometimes and come home drunk but we really did not have many problems as a family. It might have seemed like a perfect kind of family to everyone but in the eyes of God we were lost in our sins. My brother Hubert invited me to go to church when I was 17. Vicky Fester, a missionary wife began to guide me in the Christian walk and in one of her classes as she talked about the plan of salvation I was saved. My family did not oppose my Christian life in any way. Thank God!! 

How Christ has changed my Life: When I just met Christ I learned to depend from Him and to know Him more. My behavior started to change, I used to be very impatient, and I reacted screaming and very irritated. Today I'm more patient and my pride has being reduced considerably. When my family saw the changed in me, they had joy with me. It was great Actually my father, my mother and my brother Huber are saved. I am still praying for my older sister salvation, Mariela, and her husband and for my younger brother Miguel. I hope God change their life someday, they heard the gospel but they did not take a decision yet. 

My Calling into the Ministry: In 2004 while at the ICFWE (International Conference for World Evangelization), in a message by Bro. Luis Parade about giving oneself to the Lord I decided to enter the Seminary to incapacitate me more so I can get better get involved in the ministries of the church. After the ICFWE I decided to assist the Iglesia "Bautista Manantial de Vida" (Fountain of Life Baptist Church). The pastor at the time was pastor Lorenzo Laura. The pastor there now is Pastor Fernando Ramos. My life changed in the sense that I became faithful to all the services and began to minister in the different areas of ministry of the church. In August of that same year I enrolled in the Seminary and I'm in my third semester. At first my parents did not agree that I should go but then they started to like it more and more. The Seminary is a special place where one learns a lot and gets around people with the same objectives, the same love toward God and toward the ministry. They are all fighting for the patience and piety as I am. I have learned how to talk to approach people without fear and tell them that God loves them, how he has changed me, and He can do the same with them. 

My Plans for the Future: I would like to see my young ladies ministry grow in the ¨Fountain of Life Baptist Church and get them to love and serve God like I am. I am also working and learning a lot in the Children's Sunday School ministry. It is my desire that these children might be saved and go on to do great things for God. I desire to be a missionary, wherever God may put me and I am praying for direction. For now I do not have any particular place I desire to work. But I did I would share the Gospel and share with them the great teachings of the Christ that they might have the same desire to share their faith in God to others.
