Birthplace: My name is Angelinne Pelagio, and I was born on June 3rd, 1985 in the “Region Metropolitana de Santiago de Chile ”. My parents are Anthony Pelagio La Valle and Jacqueline Verdugo Ramírez. We are 2 siblings: I (20) and Steve (17). 

How I came to Know Christ: I come from a catholic family, but we never went to church. I lived in Santiago until I was 12, where we have had a good economic position and problems in home too like often riots. When I was 13 my parents got separated and a friend invited me to a Baptist church, where I prayed for salvation but only for commitment, not in my hearth. I went to church for about 2 years, but without any fruit. Because of it I went away from the church and lived in my own way, I met a rock band, I knew about the Word of God and there was an intern brake in me for not live a sinful life. When I was 17 my brother had an accident and he was going to become blind, I was depressed and I realized about my empty, shallow and meaningless life. During this harsh time we remembered God and we started to look at Him in the church. My mom met a brother in the church I used to go and he was Pastor Aldo Asto. We went to a service on May 10th, 2003 and that same evening I accepted Jesus as my personal savior later in my house, because I was not calmed. 

How Christ has changed my Life: God had showed me a lot trough many people, I started to change my friends, my dressing, my thinking way until the point that I was not happy anymore in worldly things, but only in God things. The change was so deep that many people from my former life couldn't believe it. Mi mom and my brother accepted Jesus after a time going to church, and my brother sight sickness was cured, and I think God used this problem so we could go and seek shelter in Him. My other relatives live in Santiago , and I don't think they are saved, there is a church in the city but we haven't yet told them to evangelize my family. My prayers are door them and my father. 

My Calling into the Ministry: When I was getting more involved in God work, He placed a desire to learn his Word and work. After I felt this and the need of the people, my old friends, looking them more involved in the world and I farther way from the world. I heard about missions, summits and discussions about them, and there was not peace in me, instead a desire to be more involve in the work. At the Beginning I had doubts to know if it was God's will for me. I prayed and searched God's direction; with other people help too I made the decision to study in the Seminary in Arequipa , because I know there is not a Baptist Seminary in Chile with our doctrine. The Seminary has being a blessing for me; I know God has placed his hand here. The boys and girls had being very nice with me, cheering me up all time with a constant support. I have being fulfilled with all the education, we have to do papers and work, so we are busy all time and there is no time to feel sadness or home sick, this keep me my target in God things. In the economic way I work to pay my bills and my own expenses. I trust God will provide it. 

My Plans for the Future: I want God use me completely. I have many dreams and goals, but I'm trying to give it all in God hands. I would like to witness my father and his wife so they can become saved, and talk to my family. I want to be a missionary, I'm praying a lot for it, and God can put a burden in my hearth so strong for a special place and open door if it is His will. My short time plan is of course to finish my training, and serve in the church before going to the mission field. I'm willing to go wherever God lead me.
