Birthplace : My name is Jonathan Maco, I am from Chiclayo province, department of Arequipa – Peru. I was born in 1986, April 20 th . My parents were: Victor Maco, and Sonia Leysequia. We are thre brothers: Melissa (17), Grace (14) and me (19).

How I came to know Christ: I was born in a Christian home, It was a May Sunday of 1990, I was 4 years old, when I accepted Jesus, in a missionaries visit. During the week they preached about Christ sacrifice, the situation I was and that God could redeem me because everybody was in sin and going to hell. I listened it in a conference, and in Sunday night school the teacher made the invitation, so I raised my hand I after the service she explained me how to be saved.. I served faithfully in the church, singing since I was a little boy. When I was 11 years old there were a trouble time in the church and my family, so we left the church. Everything was a chaos. Later the same year my parents got separated and I took the decision of not living with anyone, so I lived with my ant. She insisted and told me to get back in God's path, but I didn't want to know about Him, thinking he forgot about us. I spent time with non believer friends and I lived bitterly. When I was 14 years old, My ant invited me to the church, y after all her effort I accepted but kept leaving a worldly life. A long time I held rancour in my hearth against my father for living away from the Lord, abused my mom and I was angry with her for saying she didn't love my father and that only she got married for obligation.

How He changed my Life: I met pastor Carlos Marquina a March 13 th of 2000, I was just a listener until Sergio Serquem shared with us the real Christian life, which I was not doing. He started to changer my life, I felt pure joy and remembered I was God's son and saved, That I should live to give him honour and glory. My mother still was reconciled with Him, but my father is in Christ feed. Some of my brothers want to but they still need the trust God gave me to make a miracle in their lives. Call to the ministry: In a family campaing, the missionary Austin Gardner told us about destroyed marriages and abandoned child occasioned by a vice; It shook me so much that I really suffered cause I knew what It was to live that kind of life. God touched my hearth to serve him full time.

My Calling into the Ministry: It was when I was 16 years old, but because I knew life in the ministry It was not easy I didn't do it. By them I could not resist the calling, I had not peace in my hearth. In march of 2003 I studied in my church Institute, in the CLAN program (Macedonia Advanced Leadership Centre) in Chiclayo city. In 2004 year I came to Arequipa to continue studying in Macedonia Seminary.

My Plans for the Future: God had placed in my hearth to open a church in the north of Peru, I have many places in my mind: Jaen, trujillom Piura and Chiclayo. I'm still praying cause I don't know exactly. I saw many need in our Country's cost, many youth involved in vices, I saw ignorance in the sierra. They don't know what God made for them and what He wants for them. In the jungle the situation is similar. I have a weight in my hearth and It doesn't leave me be quite, I want to shake the north of our country and make the work and reach it with the gospel. I'm searching what is the best inside God's will and left it in His hands with the direction He can give I can make plenty more for Him.
