Birthplace: My name is Alfredo Pari Lampa and I was born on January 22nd of 1983, in the district of Sachaca, Province and department of Arequipa – Peru . My parents were: Ceferino Pari and Rosa Lampa Cruz. I have 3 half-siblings: Amanda (38), Alejandra (35), Juana (30), and me (22).
How I came to know Christ: I came from a strength catholic family. They separated before I was born. I lived with my 2 half-siblings until I was about 12 years old. Because I was 8 years younger than my sisters, I wasn't close to them. My sister Amanda and my mother fought because of the lack of money and my father's absence. I studied high school in a Christian school, where I heard daily about God, which helped me as a teenager becoming to become saved at an early age of 11. My mother was pleased with my decision of being a Christian though my siblings were not. Nevertheless when I was 15 years old I escaped to the world with wrong friend, because a leader disappointed me with his bad example during a time of his life. Obviously I learned to follow Christ instead a man, so by God's grace I wasn't involved with vices, as some youth frequently do. On December of 2001 I came back to God's path thanks to a preaching titled: to whom do you follow? The message touched my hearth and I realized that being away from God was a big error. By then I was studying and I quit it because I Knew It wasn't God's will for me.
How Christ has changed my Life: I used to be childish and immature, and I changed, my spiritual life became stronger and I stood firm in spiritual things. I was serving in visitation, cells, and serving in Sunday's school with kids and later with youth. My mother is saved, my sister too but she doesn't show genuine conversion change. Everyone else has a secular life. And live away from God, my three sisters have gone to church, and for a while it looked like they changed but there was not fruit.
My Calling into the Ministry: In the II Youth Conference in 2002, I heard a message about the great need of workers for God's harvest. And He guided me to a decision for serving Christ, and studying at the seminary. When I told my family, my sister opposed, and now suddenly she offered to help me pay for it. My mother supports my decision and at the beginning I had to live in the seminary by faith. The Seminary helped me to build my character; I learned to obey without asking reasons, with a server's docile hearth. It's an important place to make the most crucial decisions of my life, willing to serve him like He wants.
My Plans for the Future: When I finish the Seminary I would like to work as a pastor, not in the city of Arequipa to prove myself and later to be a missionary in the foreign field. I'm thinking Paraguay or Brazil , but I'm still praying for God's direction. I want to Plant a strong church, and then plant another one, Train leaders that will train leaders. I want to establish a Christian school to bring the gospel, where the students have a healthy way to grow, and It's a good way to make future leaders for this Lost World. Next I would like to open a satellite school for the Seminary and I hope by God's grace to accomplish all this plans He placed in my hearth. |
